Technology Means Business |
 |
Technology Means Business was developed following a call from Government to improve the quality and consistency of ICT advice given to Small and Medium sized Businesses. It is an organisation run by the Chartered Management Institute and supported by the DTI, under the UK Online for Business initiative, and commercial sponsors such as Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Intel, and BT. |
| Our existing relationships with Hewlett Packard and Microsoft have helped us in becoming one of only a handful of TMB Approved Centre's in the UK. |
| For the Lapworth Consultancy this means that we have a recognised and independent accreditation covering our organisation and our advisors. |
| To gain Approved Centre status, we had to prove we could deliver a wide range of advice on ICT-related issues, such as e-commerce, on-line marketing, data management, web development as well as hardware and software solutions. |
| The accreditation is reassuringly difficult to obtain in the first place and keep due to the regular checks made on the advice we give. |
